Dr. Suhail Mati, DMD, DABOI, FAGD, HFAAID, DICOI
Dr. Suhail Mati is a board-certified implantologist and the founder of Advanced Dentistry Center in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. A 2003 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Dr. Mati pursued advanced training through an externship at the Misch Implant Institute and completed a one-year comprehensive implant residency at the Medical College of Georgia MAXI Course.
Dr. Mati is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID), a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), a Fellow and Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He has completed more than 1,000 hours of continuing education and has placed and restored over 3,000 implants throughout his career.
An active educator and leader, Dr. Mati has served as an adjunct clinical instructor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and as a council member of the Academy of General Dentistry. He has presented table clinics and lectures at national meetings and currently serves as President of the Central District of the AAID.
Dedicated to clinical excellence and innovation, Dr. Mati lectures nationally for BioHorizons and is the founder of the Advanced Implant Study Club. He is certified in intravenous conscious sedation, having completed training at the Conscious Sedation Institute—making him one of few general dentists in southeast Michigan licensed to provide IV sedation.
Outside the office, Dr. Mati enjoys time with his wife, Dalya, a pharmacist, and their four children—Chloe, Elizabeth, Peter, and Paul. He is active in youth sports, coaching his son’s soccer team, and enjoys watching and playing sports in his free time.
