Purpose of the Study: To pursue immediate full-arch implant surgery and immediate loading and provide patient with a stable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing temporary full-arch prosthesis on the same day as their implant placement.
Methods: The digital planning, including a CBCT scan and digital impressions and face photos, allows for accurate bone reduction and implant placement guided by the stable, metal CHROME fixation guide. This "anchored" approach, which involves the guide being supported by the bone and implants, leads to a faster surgery, a predictable outcome, and a quick conversion of the provisional prosthesis to a fixed temporary.
CHROME Guided Guide: The core of the system is the metal CHROME guide, which is supported by the patient's jawbone. This metal-framed guide offers superior stability and allows the dentist to visualize the drills and implant placement, providing greater confidence and accuracy. Surgery: Guide Seating: The pin guide is tried in to ensure a stable, non-wobbling fit on the bone or tissue. Bone Reduction: Using the guide, minimal bone reduction and osteotomy (drilling) were completed to prepare the sites for the implants. Implant Placement: Implants are placed according to the digital plan, with the guide ensuring accurate placement. Immediate Loading: After implant placement, multi-unit abutments are attached. Temporary Prosthesis: A pre-designed temporary prosthesis is then attached to the implants. Occlusion Verification: The patient's bite (occlusion) is carefully checked, and the prosthetic is delivered to the patient.
Results: We were able to extract all lower arch teeth, minimal bone reduction, immediate implants placement and immediate loading and PMMA fixed implant provisionals on the same day.
Conclusion: Chrome Guide facilitated technique offers benefits such as significantly reduced treatment times, immediate aesthetic and functional restoration, and a significant boost to patient confidence and quality of life by eliminating periods with missing teeth or removable denture.
